Committees

We are asking for volunteers for several new committees to help maintain and improve Silver Creek. We would like to see at least 10% of the homeowners on these committees to help us progress. The Board is made up of 5 volunteers who make up only 2% of the homeowners in our neighborhood. If we all work together to make Silver Creek better, it will be the Neighborhood of Choice in Owasso. The following committees will be forming soon:

Beautification - Appearance of the park, pond, entrances and the islands throughout neighborhood.

Social Activities - Block parties, Easter egg hunt, Annual Garage Sale, Annual Extravaganza and welcoming new neighbors.

Pool - Appearance of the pool entrance, Pool improvements and additions.

Safety/City Liaisons - Neighborhood watch, new stop signs, traffic issues of speeding and failure to stop, drainage issues and road repairs.

Dues

Dues for the 2008-09 season are increasing by $10 to help offset the increasing cost of lawn maintenance and other repairs around the neighborhood. Dues statements will be going out on the April 30th and are due by June 1st. The common areas of Silver Creek are going on 8 years, and the Board would like to be prepared for any major repairs that may arise.
